I am the founder of The Hope Factor Tutoring and a certified Mathematics (Grades 7-12) educator with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. With more than 7 years of tutoring experience and 2 years of teaching high school mathematics in Austin ISD, I have worked with students of diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and academic abilities. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of mathematics. Through personalized instruction, clear explanations, and a supportive learning environment, I help students strengthen their skills, achieve their academic goals, and become more confident learners. I tailor my approach to meet each student's individual needs. My goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance but also to foster a positive attitude toward learning that will benefit them long after our tutoring sessions end. 

 Math has always been a passion of mine, and although I originally planned to pursue a career in medicine, my experience working at an after-school tutoring center inspired me to become an educator. I find the greatest fulfillment in helping students reach those breakthrough moments when concepts click and their confidence grows. I believe every student deserves a strong voice in their learning, and I strive to create a supportive, inclusive environment that values their strengths, perspectives, and individual needs. Building meaningful relationships with students, fostering trust, and learning alongside them are at the heart of my teaching philosophy.  I earned my  B.S.A. in Biology from UT Austin and received my Mathematics Teacher (Grades 7–12) and Pedagogy & Professional Responsibilities Certifications from Texas State Board for Educator Certification.  I have been tutoring for 8 years and teaching for 3 years.
