At The Hope Factor Tutoring, we understand that unexpected situations may arise. To respect the time of our tutors and clients, we require at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations or schedule changes. 

Sessions canceled with more than 24 hours notice may be rescheduled based on tutor availability. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice, including no-shows, will be charged half of the session fee. Exceptions may be made in cases of emergencies at the discretion of The Hope Factor Tutoring. 

If a tutor must cancel a session, every effort will be made to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time. 

Students are expected to attend scheduled tutoring sessions on time and prepared to learn. Students should have any necessary materials available, including class notes, assignments, textbooks, calculators, or relevant resources. 

For online sessions, students should join the Zoom meeting at the scheduled start time. To promote engagement, communication, and an effective learning environment, students are expected to have their cameras turned on throughout the session whenever possible. If there are circumstances that prevent camera use, please communicate with your tutor in advance. 

If a student is more than 15 minutes late without prior communication, the session may be considered a no-show and will not be extended beyond the originally scheduled end time. 

Consistent attendance and active participation are essential for academic progress. Clients are encouraged to communicate any scheduling concerns as early as possible so we can provide the best support for student success. 

To ensure a smooth and convenient payment process, clients are required to maintain a valid credit or debit card on file. By scheduling tutoring services with The Hope Factor Tutoring, clients authorize charges for completed tutoring sessions in accordance with the agreed upon rates and policies. 

Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice unless otherwise specified. Invoices will be sent following the completion of each tutoring session and may be paid electronically through the payment methods provided. 

Clients are responsible for ensuring that payment information remains current and valid. Any outstanding balances must be paid before additional tutoring sessions can be scheduled. 

The Hope Factor Tutoring reserves the right to suspend services for accounts with overdue balances. If you have any questions regarding billing or payment arrangements, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. 

We may collect information including names, email addresses, phone numbers, student information, scheduling preferences, and information submitted through our contact and tutoring request forms.

Information collected is used to provide tutoring services, communicate with clients, schedule sessions, process payments, and improve our services. 

The Hope Factor Tutoring does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide services, process payments, or comply with legal requirements.

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information you provide. We are committed to maintaining appropriate safeguards to help keep your personal information secure and confidential. 

Information regarding students is collected through parents or guardians and is used solely for educational and business purposes related to tutoring services.
